You can choose different strategies for your hopper to evaluate which coin to buy. Underneath you will find a brief explanation of each strategy.

Multiple TA Factors

The multiple TA factors strategy checks multiple technical indicators for buy signals. The following technical indicators are used:

  • MACD (If the previous two candles the MACD was lower than the signal value, but in the current candle the MACD is higher than the signal value, this indicates a trend reversal and sends a buy signal to your hopper.)
  • RSI (buy signal if oversold treshold has been crossed)
  • Stochastic (buy signal if oversold treshold has been crossed)
  • Stochastic RSI (buy signal if oversold treshold has been crossed)
  • Bollinger Bands (buy signal if lower band is crossed)
  • EMA (buy signal if short period crosses long period)
  • SMA (buy signal if short period crosses long period)
  • KAMA (buy signal if short period crosses long period)

Bollinger Bands Easy

The bollinger bands easy checks 2 different candle charts: daily and 4-hourly candles. It signals a buy when a coin crosses the lower band and will give a buy signal for the coin which has crossed the lower band the most and has the biggest percentage difference from the lower band and SMA.

Bollinger Bands Advanced

The bollinger bands advanced can be configured yourself. You can choose on which types of chart candles you want to let it run and it will signal a buy for the coin which has crossed the lower band the most and has the biggest percentage difference from the lower band and SMA.

Relative Strength Index (RSI)

The relative strength index (RSI) is an indicator which tells you if a market is overbought or oversold. When the RSI value is higher then 80 it signals an overbought market, when the value is lower then 20 it signals an oversold market. You can choose on which candle size you want to run this strategy and you can enter your own RSI period (default is 14) and oversold treshold (default is 20).

Fixed rates

The fixed rates strategy allows you to configure your maximum buy rate per coin. You will need to add a config pool for each coin with a max static buy rate for this strategy to work. It will select the coin which will be the lowest from the setted maximum buy rate or not select any coin when all rates are above the maximum buy rates.
